The Thai world No.8 is seeded fourth in the BWF World Tour Super 500 event in New Delhi. The 23-year-old star, who won the tournament in 2016, will begin with a first round match-up against the 90th-ranked Sai Uttejitha Rao Chukka of India. Ratchanok suffered a disappointing first round exit at the All England Open in Birmingham earlier this month. Chananchida Jucharoen and Phittayaporn Chaiwan are the other two Thais in the women's singles event. In the men's singles event, seventh seed Khosit Phetpradab will play a qualifier, while Kantaphon Wangcharoen, the No.8 seed, will meet HS Prannoy of India.
